Ride details

As my Swedish riding buddy is out injured I went for a short solo ride (about 65km) to explore some new gravel tracks East of my hometown Uppsala.

I encountered a few "no entry" signs which meant I had to make a few route changes.

Just as I left the 228 I had a no entry boom but rode around as it had a sign saying it was for wild boar hunting between 20:00-05:00. It would be quite tricky to get around the boom on a big bike as it’s narrow and there is a drop off into a ditch.

I’m very glad I did this as it was a great road and led me to a great stretch of two-track between some farm land.

Other than that, the roads were a little unremarkable, just very well groomed gravel and some nice twisty tar sections.

Bike and gear details

Bike is running great and really enjoying the Pirelli MT21 rallycross front tyre. The no-name brand rear tyre is holding up remarkably well and I don’t feel bad at all abusing it which is an excellent combo.
