Long Weekend in the Richtersveld

A couple of friends spent the long weekend away from the crowded places and riding bikes around the Richtersveld.

We left from Cape Town, overnighting in Vanrhynsdorp and mounting the motorcycles in Springbok. We slept near Vioolsdrif on the bank of the Oranjerivier for two nights, from where we explored both east- and westwards. We completed a part of the Namaqua Eco Trail and got back to Springbok, where we trailered the bikes down to Kamieskroon. We headed into the mountains and got to Garies via Twee Riviere and Kheis.

We finally headed back to Vanrhynsdorp where we spent our final night and the next morning everyone departed towards home.
